Canadian Country Singer-songwriter, Taylor Jensen, writes from the depths of her heart with her emotion-provoking songwriting and captivating vocal delivery leaving you feeling like you just had a heart-to-heart with your best friends. She writes for the ones that feel everything a little more deeply and have trouble saying how they feel. She’s soft yet fierce, no stranger to resilience and always rooting for the underdog.
Born and Raised on the Coast of Cape Breton Island, the songstress has found her spot in the music scene writing and performing with artists such as, Mike Ryan of The Town Heros, Eliza Rhinelander, Apryll Aileen, playing the award winning Blueberry Jam Music Festival, The Renaissance Music ( Garrett Ward, Dan Botch) and Shawn Moore to name just a few. and now, set to release her first single “ End of the Road” Friday, May 24th 2024.
Her writing influences fall all across the board. “ I grew up listening to Merle Haggard, John Prine and Wille Nelson thanks to my father. Later on, Kacey Musgraves was a huge influence as well as Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris and Old Dominion. If it has lyrics that evoke emotion and a catchy beat, I'm probably listening to it” .
