Who is this gal?
Taylor Jensen. The Cape Breton Island born singer & songwriter has found her spot in the music scene writing and performing with artists such as, Mike Ryan of The Town Heros, Eliza Rhinelander, opening for Apryll Aileen at The Carleton and playing Blueberry Jam Music Festival to name just a few and now, releasing her first single “ End of the Road” late November 2023.
Her writing influences fall all across the board. “ I grew up listening to Merle Haggard, John Prine thanks to my father. Later on Kacey Musgraves was a huge influence as well as Canadian artist, Lights. If it has lyrics that capture my attention and a sick beat, I'm probably listening to it”
Her energetic delivery paired with her emotion provoking lyrics sets the confidence songstress for much success in the coming year.
